Another success story from the people at Hooke & MacDonald

Hooke & MacDonald has produced its glossiest brochure yet - this time advertising its own success story since it was formed in 1967. Looking through its massive, leatherbound company profile is like reading a catalogue of Dublin's urban renewal over the past 15 years.

In the last five years alone, the company has sold over 10,000 new homes, a great many of them with generous tax breaks which were not always appreciated at the time. Now that the city is virtually rebuilt, the agency is expected to concentrate its attention on the Docklands, where 1,300 acres still await development. It has expanded its development land apartment to handle sales of sites and advise developers on planning issues and market potential.

Like every other estate agency in town, it is also exploring the World Wide Web, and, following the launch of its Let on the Net apartment rental service, it plans to introduce internet sales this year.
