Almost all detached homes sell out in Dunboyne

All but one of the 21 detached four and five-bedroom houses in a new scheme at Dunboyne, Co Meath, were sold within a few hours of being launched last Saturday.

Leahy Property Consultants handled the sale of the houses which will form part of a 76-house estate. Four-bedroom homes made from £235,000 to £245,000 while five-bedroom detached units fetched between £275,000 and £295,000. About half the buyers were Dublin-based while the remainder were mainly local families trading up to larger homes.

Mycete Construction had similar success when it launched a similar scheme on an adjoining site earlier this year.
