Promotional photographs of new housing developments usually concentrate on the house or at the very least a smart snap of the interior. It's not how they do things in Belfast however, in these days of slow-moving property, with the arrival on Round the Block's desk of a photo of a rather pretty girl and a sports car to plug the sale of four new houses in Belfast. She's not quite draped across the bonnet but it's a bit of a mystery why she's there at all.
The reason the car is there is that the developer of the four houses is going to raffle the car among the four new house buyers - it's not a strategy that's likely to promote neighbourly harmony given that the three losers will be permanently reminded of their loser status everyday as the winner swans around in a flash new BMW.
