THE developers of Liffey Valley, in west Dublin, have sought planning permission for over 200,000 sq ft of offices adjoining the shopping complex. O'Callaghan Properties and Grosvenor Estates plan to build four blocks overlooking the Galway road. The development will include a creche and a gymnasium. Roland O'Connell, of Hamilton Osborne King, says the offices should appeal mainly to companies wanting to move from the city centre to a motorway location and also to high-tech companies looking for a high-profile location. The proximity of shops, restaurants and cinema would appeal to a lot of companies.
