GOLDEN GIRLSThe Benefit sisters dropped into town recently and brought their own brand of Californian cheer to a dreary Dublin day. Bright and bubbly, Jean and Jane Ford epitomise the fun attitude which defines the Benefit range. With its cute packaging and product names such as Dr Feelgood and Bad Gal Lash, you could be forgiven for thinking it doesn't take itself too seriously, but the products achieve terrific results. One of my favourites is Dandelion (€33.50), a pink complexion powder with a subtle gleam that gives an instant perky and youthful glow.
HAIR CUT
Peter Mark salons are doing their bit to keep the women of Ireland looking good. Book a colour appointment and get a 20 per cent discount on both colour and hairdressing until the end of June.
BLOOMING GORGEOUS
Choosing the right blusher for your cheeks can deliver a fresh bloom that will make your eyes appear brighter and teeth whiter. Quick Blush (€32) from Clinique is a cream-to-powder formula in four wearable shades that combines brush and colour in one unit. The longwearing blush is both sweat- and humidity-resistant, too.
FIND YOUR MUSE
This gorgeous palette from Smashbox offers 10 wearable spring soft shades to ensure your eyes are in seasonal mood. The Artist eye palette in Muse (€45) allows you to go from neutral shades of biscuit, coffee and chocolate to stronger accents of soft blues and celery green. The sheer lilac and deep orchid shades are very “now” and suit both blue and brown eyes. The accompanying applicator brush allows you to discover your inner artist.
