What's on your rider? We keep our rider simple - a few beers for the band and some Coca-Cola for Christy as he does not drink.

What would be on your fantasy rider? As above but served by David Bowie, so we could have a chat with him before the gig.

What's your pre-gig routine? We meet in the dressing room one hour before going on stage and go through what songs we are going to put in or leave out.

How do you get to the gig?If the gig is less than three hours from Dublin, we drive together. If not we fly down and back picking up a hired car from Avis. Aer Arann are the best Irish airline - plug, plug! They look after us all the time.

What's the best gig you've been to, and why?Has to be Oxegen this year in the Green Tent and not because we were on the bill - it was just great to see the tent full all day and Irish bands delivering great sets. Mundy, BellX1, Saw Doctors and ourselves - we all pulled it out of the bag. Roll on next year!

And the worst?Too many to mention - mainly gigs where bands go on stage drunk. You know who you are! We have a rule of no drink before a gig, but after you can go nuts.

Ecologically speaking, are you closer to Radiohead or Motörhead?Radiohead. Who is the most famous person to have shown up at one of your gigs? Mmmm, where do I start? David Bowie was at the side of the stage when we played with him at Slane. Does that count?

Most embarrassing on-stage moment?I broke my leg and was in plaster. The lads told me to go onstage first as I was on crutches. When I got on stage they left me there - the bastards!

What's your crowd-pleasing number? Crazy Worldworks every time.

Chatting between songs - good or bad?Very good, as it involves the crowd. Plus, it gives you a chance to tune up.

Groupies - would you? What are they?

How many roadies does it take to change your lightbulbs? We have an amazing crew that have been with us for years - we would be lost without them.
