Busy Robert Pattinson follows Twilightsequel New Moon, which finished shooting in Italy last week, with the New York-set romantic drama Remember Me, to be directed by Allen Coulter ( Hollywoodland) from a screenplay by Jenny Lumet ( Rachel Getting Married). "I have no qualms saying that she's a genius," Pattinson declares about Lumet.

He then returns as vampire Edward Cullen in the third Twilightmovie, Eclipse, which Hard Candydirector David Slade starts shooting in August. And Pattinson is learning to speak Commanche for Unbound Captives, an 1880s-set western which will co-star Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz and will mark the directing debut of actress Madeleine Stowe.

Pattinson is also playing what he describes as "a totally amoral character" in the Guy de Maupassant adaptation Bel Ami, the first feature film from accomplished theatre director Declan Donnellan.

Given that he is now such a hot property, it's all the more surprising that Pattinson's most recent movie, Little Ashes, has been passed over for cinema release here, and instead goes directly to DVD from July 13th.

Set in early 1920s Madrid, Little Ashes features Pattinson as Salvador Dalí when he was an 18-year-old university student and formed a close friendship with two other burgeoning creative talents, Luis Buñuel (Matthew McNulty) and Federico García Lorca (Javier Beltrán).
