Any press release which contains the line "join Michael for fun and fecundity in Padua" gets a close reading on this desk. It turns out to refer to the Drama Teachers' Annual Shakespeare Summer School, which will take place at Ely House, Dublin, on the weekend of August 22nd-24th, under the direction of the eminent director, Michael Bogdanov - (I hesitate to give him a nationality, but he grew up in Wales, studied in Dublin, is of Polish origin, and changed his name to the present one after being called "Mr. Dogbananas".)
