Thomas P. Adams are to hold an auction of about 550 lots on their Blackrock premises net Tuesday, starting at II a.m. The wide range of items includes furniture, such as a Victorian gilt console table with large gilt mirror (estimate £2,000-£3,000) and a mahogany bureau bookcase from the same period (£1,000-£1,500), as well as a number of longcase clocks and dining tables, all carrying the same estimates of £1,000-£1,500 each.

Among the pictures, is a set of James Malton's views of Dublin, reckoned to fetch £4,000-£5,000, and there is also plenty of silver, jewellery and miscellaneous articles.
