NEXT Monday, the James Adam salesrooms in Dublin re introduces its Kildare Street sales in the basement of the St Stephen's Green premises. Starting at 11.30 a.m, these sales will be held every three weeks and should cater for all tastes by covering a broad range of goods, from Victorian furniture to china, glass and miscellaneous collectables. In addition, the sales are also to include 60-80 lots of old and modern paintings and prints carrying estimates between £5 and £300. Back catalogues from former Kildare Street sales reveal that a Nano Reid oil went for £40 and a Camille Souter picture fetched £10, so these auctions are definitely worth watching for items which could rise in value in the years ahead.
