WHAT'S this: Amadigi, the world tour? Not content with exporting Handel to London, Opera Theatre Company is setting out to conquer the world with James Conway's stylish and exuberant production of Handel's Arnadigi, which toured Ireland last May and has now been invited to the Opera Comique, Paris for four performances (on November 18th, 20th, 22nd and 23rd) with the London based Academy of Ancient Music, to the Brooklyn Academy of Music, New York for four performances next March and thence to Portugal for five performances in Lisbon and Porto.
