Four and a half hours of Lesley should be enough to satisfy even her most devoted fans; beginners should choose between the Silva set, mostly culled from the bestselling albums Soprano in Red, Soprano in Love, etc, and The Collection. The latter consists of A Soprano Inspired, which might be summed up as Religious Lite, and a CD recorded for BBC Music magazine, which features just about everything from O Had I Jubal's Lyre to Wouldn't it be Luvverly. Only Garrett could invest such a ragbag of repertoire with any kind of charm; buy the box set, and get four photo cards like the one on the right into the bargain. Luvverly.
