When an African fisherman (Boufares) in southern France loses his job, he comes up with the brilliant idea of turning a rusty wreck into a floating couscous restaurant. The opening of the film features a brilliantly composed clatter of activity, before, bizarrely, turning into a misguided remake of the Gourmet Night episode from Fawlty Towers. Let's not start on the dubious belly dance. DC
