Abysmal tribute to 1960s pirate radio during which pop hits are played, DJs goof off and unidentified members of the public dance round transistor radios. The actors are decades too old, the music choices unsurprising and the politics are garbled. If the absurdly long theatrical cut didn't bore you to death, there are 11 deleted scenes on the DVD. Can it really be 25 years since the release of This is Spinal Tap? The launch of this insanely over-stuffed, three-disc celebratory edition - the top-of-the-range package comes with an actual Marshall Amp - prompts the question: on what day did God create box sets and couldn't he have rested then also?
