Network, the Organisation for Women in Business, the Professions, and the Arts, is currently campaigning for new members: women who own their own businesses; who are in management, or are entrepreneurs; women in professions, or in the arts. Prue Rudd and Sharon Kenny are both members; Eithne Jarrett is currently processing her application.
Network, which was established in 1983, has more than 1,000 members around the Republic. Among its aims are to establish and maintain links with government and state agencies; to assist in marketing the skills of the membership; and to liaise with national and international organisations. The current national president is Elizabeth O'Mahony.
