My God, are they still around? Back in the heyday of prog-rock, Deep Purple were the head honchos, all long hair, longish songs, riffs aplenty and, in vocalist Ian Gillan, one of the genre's greatest screamers.

The line-up has changed many times over the years, but still they keep on keepin' on, regardless of fashion. And here they are again, with a fair portion of the original line-up. This four-DVD package is an exhaustive trawl through live shows over the past 15 years, from a 1995 concert in India to a 2002 show at Birmingham's NEC. All the hits and more ( Fireball, Black Night, Space Truckin', Smoke on the Waterand the screamathon that is Child in Time) are present and correct but, crikey, they do go on a bit. Extras include documentaries and more (yes, more!) live shows.

This was Foo Fighters' biggest ever headlining gig, and doesn't main FF Dave Grohl know it. Looking as pleased as punch and waiting to surprise the capacity audience with an encore of Led Zep songs ( Rock and Rolland Ramble On, featuring special guests Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones), Grohl could rightly feel proud of how far he has come from the ragged days of early Nirvana. The show certainly packs a mighty weight; performed "in the round" (ie, a square stage plonked three- quarters of the way down the immense venue), there are plenty of opportunities for Grohl to throw all manner of shapes as he wades through some cracking rock/pop stadia anthems. Excellent photography from start to finish adds to the gloss and class. No extras, just two hours of Foo Fighters and Led Zep. Who's complaining? www.foofighters.com
