THE fourth annual Kilkenny antiques and collectables fair takes place tomorrow at Newpark Hotel, beginning at 11 a.m. Some 40 dealers, attending more than 35 stands, are expected at the event.

Items on sale include furniture, jewellery, porcelain and china, clocks, paintings and prints, silver, linen and lace.

Also tomorrow, another antiques and collectors fair will be held from 10 a.m. in Dublin's Tara Towers Hotel, Merrion Road. Mostly carrying pre-1945 items, the 45-odd stands promise a variety of Victorian clocks, furniture toys and jewellery.
