GNAW: In 1992, Antoni made two large blocks, one of lard, one if chocolate, and gnawed at each or several days, spitting out the material as she went. At the end, she made the chocolate mouth fulls into chocolate box packaging, and the lard into lipstick.
LICK AND LATHER: In 1993, Antoni made two sets of seven busts of herself, one in chocolate, the other in soap. She then licked the chocolate and lathered the soap to deform her image, and displayed the results in an avenue of busts.
BUTTERFLY KISSES: In 1993, Antoni loaded her lashes with Cover Girl mascara, took two sheets of paper and "winked" the left eye 1124 times over one, and the right eye 1124 times over the other.
SLUMBER: In 1994, Antoni camped in the Anthony d'Offay Gallery in London, attached herself to a poliosonograph which charted her brain waves and dozed off. On waking each day, she wove the patterns of these charts into a woollen tapestry.
TENDER BUTTONS: In 1994, Antoni cast her nipples in solid gold, made the results into brooches, and displayed them in a velvet box.
