Home furnishings focus of Howth's first fair

HOWTH'S first antiques fair will be held tomorrow at the Baily Court Hotel, starting at 10.30 a.m

HOWTH'S first antiques fair will be held tomorrow at the Baily Court Hotel, starting at 10.30 a.m. According to the organisers, the emphasis at this event will be on home furnishings and decorative items.

Among the dealers attending from around the Republic, Moycullen Antiques will be offering a Lansdowne Rugby Club First II cap for the 1881-82 season. The stand of Marnell Antique Prints of Kilkenny's includes an etching by Goya and a large racing print of the champion racehorse Lord Clifton (1860-70). Rare books will also feature at the fair.
