Helen Thornton achieved some strong prices last Sunday in an auction at her Ormond Quay premises in Dublin.

A fine George III mahogany dining table made £4,200; a William IV mahogany sideboard sold for £1,700, while an Edwardian three piece tub suite made £950 and a square top, centre pod table fetched £680.
