Galway city makes its debut

THE first of what is intended to be an annual antiques fair for Galway city takes place next week, running from Tuesday to Thursday inclusive. Held at the Great Southern Hotel in Eyre Square, the event will be officially opened Eileen O'Mara Walsh chair of An Forbairt, on Tuesday evening. Many of the Republic's bestknown dealers will be taking part, including George Stacpoole and Carol O'Connor from Adare Satch Kiely of Westport, John Farrington of Dublin and Cork's Donal O'Regan, as well as such local dealers as Moycullen Antiques and Maguires Antiques.
