CORRECTIONS AND CLARIFICATIONS

A report on the shortlist for the IMPAC Dublin Literary Award in Tuesday's editions referred to the Canadian writer Jane Urquhart as "the only woman writer" on the list. This should have read "the other woman writer". The Dutch writer Connie Palmens is also included.
