CORRECTIONS AND CLARIFICATIONS

A report headed "Right wing parties consider forming Christian alliance" in last Saturday's editions quoted Mr Fintan Dunne as a spokesman for Muintir na hEireann. Mr Richard Greene states that he is party leader and that Mr Dunne does not have the support of the party's official registration. The question of authorised officers of the party is in dispute. The Office of the Registrar of Political Parties, which issued a letter on December 20th indicating that the authorised officers of Muintir na hEireann were Mr Richard Greene, Mr Kevin Caulfield and Ms Lelia O'Flaherty, has confirmed that it has received a further letter from other individuals who claim they are the authorised officers. The registrar is examining the matter and will decide within two weeks who the authorised officers of the party are.
