Mr Tom Kiernan remains a member of Fianna Fail although he has resigned his position as Fianna Fail's director of elections in Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown as reported in yesterday's editions.
The Opposition criticised the Minister for the Environment, Mr Dempsey, for failing to accept legislation by Mr Sean Ryan (Labour, Dublin North), not by Mr Sean Kenny (former Labour TD, Dublin North East) as stated in yesterday's report headed "Bill on `cowboy' builders". And the statements attributed to Mr Kenny in the same report were in fact made by Mr Ryan.
