The report headed "Balcombe Street gang were sentenced to more than 600 years in jail between them" in Saturday's editions said Martin Joseph O'Connell, a member of the gang, had written in An Phoblacht that the IRA ceasefire was "the most stupid, blinkered and ill-conceived decision ever made by a revolutionary body". In fact, O'Connell made the statement in relation to the breaking of the IRA ceasefire.
