MULLEN Bros is holding an auction next Tuesday on the company's premises in Oldcastle, Co Meath. The wide variety of lots includes Victorian chairs, tables and sideboards and the contents of an attic at Brittas Nobber, Co Meath, such as brass and iron beds, a Victorian dog cart, dog magazines from earlier this century and kitchen equipment.
The 700 odd lots in Herman & Wilkin son's pre Christmas antique auction on Thursday, from 10 a.m., include a nine piece Edwardian drawingroom suite, a Strahan double sided open bookcase and hallstand, a Georgian secretaire cupboard, Victorian chests, a gilt marble console table, a pair of corner cabinets and a bureau bookcase.
