THERE won't be a "suit" in sight at tonight's live art event to mark the 75th edition and 15th anniversary of Circa art magazine. The Office at Night gathering in Circa's Belfast office is billed as an evening of "technological wonders" There will be performances by Alastair MacLennan, Anne Seagrave and Andre Stitt (see main piece), art link ups by fax and phone with Shane Cullen and Alice Maher in France, Maurice O'Connell in Glasgow and Anna O'Sullivan in New York and an Internet work by Tony Patrickson.

With a circulation of 5,000, Circa, edited by Tanya Kiang, receives annual funding of £42,500; £30,500 from the Arts Council and £12,000 from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland. It supplements this income with advertising revenue, magazine sales and private donations.

Since last March, Circa has been available on the Internet and Kiang says she hopes to develop this site in collaboration with the Belfast, ArtServices.
