AN undertaking has been given by Telecom Eireann in the High Court yesterday not to disclose to any third party any information relating to Esat Telecom's accounts, bills or customer accounts.

Esat Telecom had sought an order restraining Telecom Eireann from disclosing any information about its business pending a full court hearing of a dispute between the two telecommunications companies.

On Monday, Mr Justice McCracken, was told by counsel for Esat Telecom that Telecom Eireann had agreed to give the undertaking and the motion seeking an order to restrain them could be struck out and no order made.
