WEB LOGINSTALL: The FilmOn TV app is a free service that allows you to access live streaming HD TV from a range of channels.
While it includes such classics as Jewelry TV and Jewish Life TV, it also has BBC, ITV, Bloomberg, Channel 5, Channel 4, More 4, Film 4 and others.
The app is a sampler for a subscription service but it works brilliantly most of the time even if the quality is not quite HD on your iPhone. The app needs WiFi to work and there’s also a PC based version.

In other words build your own personal multimedia graveyard where your friends and relatives can pay their respects.
READ Power out of thin air
Wonder how a Mac Book Air manages to get a decent battery life out of such a thin power unit? It's all to do with energy efficiency. This blog post illustrates the massive leaps in power efficiency mobile devices have enjoyed as they shrink. For the last 60 years, the electrical efficiency of computation has doubled every 18 months. is.gd/929PQ6

For those of us a little more technically challenged than Chris there's a useful accompanying article which covers issues such as changing your default password, adding encryption, checking your network logs and not sharing folders. is.gd/gpZgHp
