AVVIO, A SUPPLIER of internet technology to the hotel and hospitality sector, has launched a new course in digital marketing.
Developed in partnership with Irish Times Training and the Irish Internet Association, the course is intended to provide hotel professionals with practical knowledge required to plan and implement extensive digital marketing plans including social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin. Starting on May 21st, the diploma covers topics such as digital marketing strategy, conversion and revenue generation, the mobile web, online PR and social media marketing.
Brian Reeves, Avvio chief executive, said many hotels were still not capitalising on tools such as Twitter.
