Providence Resources has reported pre-tax losses of £16.5 million (€20.7 million) after the company wrote down the value of underdeveloped hycrocarbon assets last year. Announcing the results yesterday, Providence Resources chairman, Dr Brian Hillery, said the company remained committed to its long-term ambition to develop and to produce hydrocarbons from the Celtic Sea.
