A "niche offer" of a free JVC camcorder is available to purchasers of new Omegas, whose executive status and 2.0-litre plus engines puts them outside the range of offers normally associated with the lower end of the market. The offer runs until the end of April.

The Corsa, Astra, Vectra, and Tigra all have a zero-interest finance offers. "If you come up with a 50 per cent deposit, you divide the balance by 24 and pay it interest free," says the marketing manager, Mr Aidan Doyle. "We reckon that on a Corsa, if you do the deal over 24 months, you will save £500 on typical finance available at the moment."

Free road tax offers are also available on those models while there are other finance deals at zero per cent APR under the Choices 123 programme.
