Net investment drawbacks

Investment firms in Britain were yesterday told they must obey the rules and take extra care when advertising their products on the Internet. The Personal Investment Authority (PIA) wants firms to be able to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the Net while continuing to make sure investors were protected. Firms regulated by the PIA must mention this fact in their Internet advertising and clearly highlight it on the first page that people see.
