The Minister for State at the Department of Public Enterprise has urged Irish companies to join the drive to significantly reduce the national energy bill and tackle the growing level of harmful gas emissions. At the introduction of the Energy Self Audit Scheme programme yesterday, Mr Joe Jacob said large Irish industry could potentially save more than £40 million (€50 million) in energy costs each year.
