A report in our edition of Tuesday, January 17th on the adjudication of Seán Quinn as a bankrupt was headed Seán Quinn’s family faces bankruptcy hearings next month.
It also stated that there were to be hearings in the High Court in two weeks’ time to decide if Mr Quinn’s family would follow him into bankruptcy. Both the heading and the report were wrong. Mr Quinn’s family are not subject to any bankruptcy hearing, nor is one pending, nor has any petition issued.
The Irish Timesregrets this error and apologises to the Quinn family for any distress caused by the publication.
