Former Anglo Irish Bank chief executive David Drumm has been given an extension until tomorrow to file a response to objections made against him walking away from bankruptcy in the US.
Mr Drumm told the Boston bankruptcy court in a filing that he wanted an extension on the filing of his response as he was retaining counsel to defend him in the case.
He is allowed to seek further extensions from the court to give him time to prepare a defence.
Anglo and the court-appointed officer overseeing the proceedings objected to his discharge from bankruptcy at the end of August, claiming he had fraudulently and knowingly made false statements in the proceedings and that he failed to disclose transactions.
