The Central Bank may have loaned as much as €54.1 billion to the country's banks as of last month in the shape of exceptional liquidity, down from €66.8 billion at the end of March.

The Central Bank has said that "other assets " includes "exceptional liquidity assistance lending" for Irish banks, without giving more details. This liquidity makes up the bulk of the category, according to a senior central bank official, who declined to be identified, because the bank does not comment on this facility.
Irish-based lenders' borrowings from the European Central Bank fell to €106.1 billion on April 29th from €114.5 billion
at the end of March, the Central Bank said.
