Fast-food chain Nando’s is to create over 65 new jobs in Dublin with the opening of two new restaurants.
The stores will be situated in Mary Street and St Andrews Street and are expected to open in September and November respectively.
Nando’s has been operating on the island of Ireland since 2008, when it opened its first restaurant in Victoria Square, Belfast. The company now employs over 150 people in five restaurants in Dublin, Cork and Belfast.
“We have been on the search for two Dublin city centre locations to add to our family of restaurants for some time and are delighted to have secured two prime locations on both Mary Street and St Andrew Street," said Nando's regional managing director Alan Snyman.
"In opening these two restaurants we are reaffirming our commitment to Ireland and are very confident that with the creation of 65 new jobs, our two new restaurants will prove to be as successful as the Nando’s story itself,” he added.
The company, which is famous for its flame-grilled peri-peri chicken, was established in South Africa in1987 and currently operates in 30 countries.
