Arvato to create 150 more jobs over three years

GLOBAL OUTSOURCING provider Arvato is to create an additional 150 positions in Ireland over the next three years.

The roles will be in its finance division, supporting increased demand for private and public business process outsourcing services in Ireland and overseas.

The company, which is a subsidiary of Bertelsmann, said more than 30 vacancies were now available. Arvato already employs 1,200 in Dublin in its global finance business process outsourcing and IT/high-tech services divisions.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny welcomed the additional jobs.

Arvato Finance now handles more than 60 million transactions worth over € 50 billion every year on behalf of its clients. Its has operations in the UK, India, China, Brazil, the Philippines and the US and employs more than 60,000 in more than 270 subsidiaries across 35 countries.

Arvato has annual revenues of approximately €5 billion.
