Wexford builders Allen Construction will be hoping to secure in excess of €4 million for a development site with frontage onto both Military Road and Killiney Hill Road in Killiney, Co Dublin. Kilmarnock House, a large rambling house with a floor area of 913sq m (9,826sq ft) stands on a site of 1.26 hectares (3.11 acres) and has full planning permission for a 90-bedroom nursing home.
New owners may instead opt for a residential scheme. Mairead Furey of DTZ Sherry FitzGerald says the site has all the ingredients for a “prestigious development” a few minutes’ walking distance from Killiney beach.
