Siac reports profits stable, sales up 13pc

Profits at building and engineering group Siac were €5 million last year, in line with the figure the company reported for 2010. Results released yesterday also showed that turnover grew 13 per cent to €230 million. The group’s cash balances fell 4 per cent to €24 million.

Chief executive Finn Lyden said the company was pleased with its results given the difficult economic environment across most of its markets. Siac has operations in Ireland, Belgium, Britain, Canada and Poland.
