INDEPENDENT THIRD-LEVEL colleges are continuing to move into vacant office blocks in Dublin city centre.

In the case of IBAT it opted for a newly refurbished four-storey building at Wellington Quay which had been occupied for many years by Dublin City Council’s roads division. The college has taken a 20-year lease of the 1,434 sq m (15,437 sq ft) block at a rent of €242 per sq m (€22.50 per sq ft).

Karl Byrne of Douglas Newman Good Commercial handled the letting.
