BANK OF IRELAND is to sell a Georgian house and mews building at 65 Lower Baggot Street in Dublin 2 which accommodated a staff creche for many years.

The bank is hoping to secure close to €750,000 for the property, which would have made in the region of €2.5 million at the peak of the property market.

Michael Healy of Savills says there is already interest in the four-storey over basement end-of-terrace building, which is in good order but in need of redecoration.

The main house extends to 264sq m (2,841sq ft) while the mews building at the end of the garden is on the small size at 48sq m (516sq ft).
