KEVIN MANNING travels west to Ballinrobe's all-flat card this evening, and while there is just €7,500 on offer for the opening maiden it could provide a valuable winning opportunity for Manning's mount Myrine, writes Brian O'Connor.

The Jim Bolger-trained filly is a half-sister to the Arc-winner Sagamix, and Sagacity, who finished third in the 2001 Arc.

Any kind of victory would make Myrine a valuable paddocks prospect for owner Michael Ryan, and this 14-furlong trip should suit a filly whose sole start to date was a fifth to Sublime Talent at Limerick in April.

Manning is on the Bolger newcomer Sanan Dancer in the nine-furlong maiden, but experience could shade this for Yes Missus, who was runner-up to Saoi at Gowran earlier this month and has a good draw for this tight track.
