CONOR O'DWYER, deputising for the suspended John Shortt, partnered Pingo Hill to upset the well supported odds on favourite Fly Rosey in the Cedars Hotel Rosslare Hurdle at a rain softened Wexford last evening.

"He would prefer better going but handled that ground tonight terrifically. We will try and find a 2 1/2 mile contest for him at Killarney and then go to Galway," said winning trainer Jessica Harrington.

Charlie Swan, who partnered the runner up, had little luck in the evening's racing, finishing second on Slave Gale behind the Sean Treacy trained Laura Gale in the opener and filling the runner up berth on Drominagh in the Rosslare Maiden Hurdle.

Victory here went to Adaramann, trained by Ted Walsh and carrying the colours of his wife, Helen, to provide their son Ruby with his 10th success to date on the 1200 guineas Goffs purchase.
