THE National League snatched an unexpected draw with two late goals after being dominated by Croatia for the first 85 minutes of this charity game at United Park last night.
The Croatians missed chances in the first half and fielded an almost entirely new team after the interval. Nikola Jurcevic cracked a great volley from the edge of the area in 55 minutes to put them 1-0 up, and with seven minutes left to play, Valaovic scored a second.
The League side hit back almost immediately with a goal by Stephen Geoghegan, and another by Derek Tracey.
