A 60th-minute goal from Kevin Brady proved decisive for Antrim as they recorded their first league win at the expense of Limerick at Kilmallock yesterday.
Antrim led 0-4 to 0-1 at the interval, but Limerick introduced two substitutes, Niall O'Riordan and Johnny Murphy, and they made a dramatic impact.
Limerick began to dominate and seven unanswered points, from Colin Hickey, Michael Ready, John Murphy, Damian Ready and Jason Stokes had them in the driving seat 0-8 to 0-4 after 47 minutes.
Antrim, taking their cue from two Paddy Logan points, narrowed the gap and Brady's goal made all the difference.
