Madam, - David Curley (December 4th) says that your letters page "is full of people who have nothing to do with their lives other than moan and complain about other people".
Firstly, may I welcome Mr Curley to the page.
Secondly, it is nice to see him take time out from his productive life to challenge and entertain others with his views - which is what I presumed all other contributors were doing. - Yours, etc.,
