Sir, - Some years ago, when Allied Irish Banks was financially strapped because of an investment, the Government stepped in to relieve its difficulty by giving them a large dollop of the people's money. I hate to mention this, but - ahem, this is tricky - they haven't repaid that money. Perhaps it was overlooked?
