Madam, – As a full-time carer of my husband, who has had Parkinson’s disease for over 20 years, I feel the procedure for allocating the carer’s allowance needs to be revised.
I am annoyed that I am required to be means-tested. Both my husband and myself have been passed for medical cards. Surely that should be sufficient evidence of our income? I am doing the caring. Is that not enough? – Yours, etc,
